Membership

What is membership at Radstock Co-operative Society?

The Radstock Co-operative Society, established in 1868, is a consumer co-operative owned and managed locally. Members benefit from shared profits through a ‘Dividend’ scheme. The Society prioritizes serving members and supporting local communities through grants, donations, and involvement.

Membership offers ownership, with a £2 joining fee or earning 400 loyalty points. Members receive dividends twice a year (May/November) and can participate in decision-making, attend exclusive events, and access member deals. After 6 months, members can attend AGMs and vote for the Board of Directors. After 2 years, members with £50 in their share account can stand for election. Active participation is crucial for shaping the co-op’s future

How to become a member?
